Our Philosophy

Our program is student-focused and led; the students do the work. As mentors to the team, we want to encourage every student to aspire to be the best version of themselves every day. Be true to who they are and play to their strengths. Equally, be self-aware of the opportunities for personal growth, development and be willing to learn. We are committed to helping students become aware of those opportunities that will energize, educate and empower them today and for their future. Students are taught to be accountable, both individually and collectively to own the outcome of their success.

Our History

e3 Robotics High School program was founded in 2014 and began as a leadership opportunity for high school student, Nick R, who wanted to share his experience and love of robotics with others. Through a joint effort between Nick R., and e3 Robotics a new team was created and brought to The Early Middle College at GTCC. This rookie team of inexperienced high school students from various schools in the surrounding areas of Guilford County and Davidson County went on to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition that first year. These students were awarded a grant to bring STEM to underprivileged children in Guilford County. At the end of the 2014-2015 season the students to continue meeting and thus began our year-round program. Since then the e3 Robotics Innovators have gone on to compete at MATE International ROV Competition in California. e3 Robotics high school program builds students’ 21st-century skills and encourages them to be tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and leaders.
